Additional AIG bonuses incoming
President Obama made it clear recently that the AIG bonuses are an outrage. The statement concerns bonuses already paid but… there are more AIG bonuses contracted not yet paid as just commented just now from the White House.
What conditions these bonuses will be governed by is still undecided but very probably the battle over coming payouts will be the one of the hottest soap operas on the tubes this spring.
Here is what it looked like the other day.
If the comin AIG bonuses are not controlled there will be more than President Obama who express their outrage. Personally, I think this AIG mess is just one aspect of similar occurences from other bailout takers that we have yet to hear about.
Update: with the latest rage about the AIG bonuses and the new tax legislation I expect the rest of the payouts to be eliminated by the takers voluntarily.
