Breaking the 11000 barrier – The Dow is back

The Dow ended slightly up after a wavy day which, despite strengthening signals, is a good indicator of how delicate the current economic balance is. So what is the problem? Lack of affirmation and distict milestones.

Checking the live stats on the markets keeps giving a sense of living on the edge. Although the “financial crisis” and aftermath have been with us now for almost as long as anyone cares to remember the lack of headline bold statements, that we are now out of it, is holding everyone back.

For what it is worth, The Dow Live Report suggests that we are out of it, for the time being. So make the most out of it while it lasts. The Dow has been lively of late and the week has seen us break the 11000 barrier and today end at a year high point. Asian markets seem to be playing along so Friday may very well turn into something of a rally.
