Did Bernanke hint at further decline?

As the European financial impact becomes a severely influencing factor on the Dow and other global markets, one cannot but wonder at the words of the Federal Reserve Chairman recently.

Quoted from WSJ: “There seems to be a good bit of momentum in consumer spending and investment,” Mr. Bernanke said at a dinner hosted by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. “My best guess is we’ll have continued recovery, but it won’t feel terrific.”

There seems.. a good bit of… My buest guess… it won´t feel terrific… Playing safe? Or is a deeper decline shining through?
