Strong rally brings Dow Jones over 10000 – again

The markets saw one of the strongest days in a very long time. Dow Jones added 2.8% closing at 10,018. Nasdaq and S&P500 gained even more with each adding 3.13%.

The day started strong and kept momentum until the bell, adding two milestones to the Dow history: Dow Jones had its largest gain on a single day since May this year, and we broke the magic 10,000 barrier, again.. Contributing sectors were technology and energy and quite a surge in the financial sector.

The current push comes as a bit of surprise. Congratulations to those who played in the Bull arena.
