Thursday NYSE opening down
More doom and gloom. It might feel repetitive but the global stock market is on a sidelong wiggle and while wednessday saw a slight gain for Dow Jones, Thursday opens with a drop.
For the adventurous daytrader there is money to be made but on a larger a larger scale the prolonged lack of momentum is a sign of further setbacks looming in the shadows – of every market. Get ready for more accentuated shifts.
The highlighted American auto industry are struggling but European and Japanese brands are also bleeding. Additionally, the focus on automakers creates a smokescreen behind which the even bigger wheels of the global economic machinery are faltering.
2009 will be a very difficult year. Invest accordingly.
