Will Dow Jones go Nasdaq bullish?
Dow Jones ended the week at a level over 8000 with Nasdaq following to a more pronounced bullish position a 1652. The Dow still has some way to go while Nasdaq enters the bull market. This is a time of uncertainty and while day to day trading may be very profitable, the long-term indications remain of global recession and contraction.
Dow Jones and other markets have rebounded from the marked bottom beginning of March. If this is a direct result of the financial sector transfusions or a more complex effect makes little diference. What maters is thet the financial institutions have not, and are not, changing their structure and business model. Japan is the latest country to pump massive amounts of monetary infusions into their financial sektor. There will be short-term benefits but Japan, as all other countries are providing life support to a flawed system.
One can only hope that restructuring plans are under way. If not, plan for a substantial correction once the vitamin injections loose their effect.
